Bald Head Island, NC

Bald Head Island is located across Cape Fear River, and is only accessible by ferry. It’s characterized by the electric golf carts driven here in place of motor vehicles. The scenic views, lovely village and beautiful beaches of Bald Head Island have been the setting for motion pictures, and its out-of-service “Old Baldy Lighthouse” is the oldest still standing in North Carolina.
